Last week I went to Bali with Virra for four days and stay in different hostel each day. Kosta Hostel is the third hostel that I stayed to. A really nice hostel, rooms are comfy and clean and the bathrooms are great. The hostel is a short walk away from the centre, probably a 20-30 minute walk but it's really not that bad and you could always get a motorbike.

Pool and restaurant are lovely. You could easily spend all your days lounging at Kosta Hostel, with a café serving organic soul food and a beautiful terrace and pool area.

MIHO MUSEUM

The Miho Museum is located in the southern area of Shiga Prefecture, which is next to Kyoto, and it is surrounded by rich nature. We need 20 minutes by train and an hour by bus to get there from kyoto. The first thing that surprises visitors is the design of the museum.

The entrance to the museum, for instance, a group of staircases gives the visitor almost a processional experience, as if it one would be entering a Buddhist temple.

a sliding glass and metal door, which shape forms a perfect circle when closed: the gate of China Moon.

Upon entering, the geometric structure clearly evokes the wooden roof of a traditional minka, or Japanese farmhouse.

The finishing is exquisite. The soft beige French limestone evokes warmth and harmony, in contrast with the metallic structure of tetrahedral carbon steel tubes.
